What is an Aldersgate Ambassador?
Aldersgate Enrichment Center is a faith based non-profit organization. Our ultimate goal is to provide an innovative Christian community throughout the various stages of life for adult persons with mild to moderate mental and physical challenges, regardless of race or religion. We strive to provide an environment designed to promote maximum growth in every facet of life.
Aldersgate faces cost of care as many agencies experience. Since we do not directly solicit state or federal funds, we are dependent on the Lord for our provisions. Throughout the years, He has done just that through individuals, foundations, churches, and our friends and families.
As an Ambassador for Aldersgate you will be our representative in your local church as well as in your district. You will help us with various fund raising events and special projects throughout the year in your local church and district. You may want to help organize youth or adult groups to come and help work at Aldersgate for a week during the summer or on a weekend. Of course there is a special event once a year to honor the Ambassadors here at Aldersgate. The event is a time of getting acquainted and touring our campus. This will help you to become more familiar with what goes on here, as well as get to meet the Associates and staff.
