The Brownwood District

Nurture Council
The Nurture Mission Council is responsible for carrying out the mandates of the General Board of Discipleship and the Commission on Ethnic Local Church Concerns.  The Nurture Council focuses on the need for Christians in the Brownwood District, Central Texas Conference, UMC, to be nurtured in the Christian faith if they are to cultivate the spiritual resources necessary to provide effective ministries.
