Young Men’s Journey # 16 at Early United Methodist Church—August
19-21
Young
Men’s Chrysalis Journey #16 will be Aug 19-21 at Early UMC, This activity
is designed for young men ages 18-28. Please keep the caterpillars and
team members in your prayers. What can we do to help make this Journey
a great success? Listed here are some of the ways: Pray, make Agape,
(table notebooks/folders are needed), worship book covers, swatches, agape
(letters/posters), poster board, ear plugs, dining place mats, pencils/pens,
letter openers, clothespin necklaces and any other favorite items you would
like to share. Also we can attend Candlelight and closing services. Candlelight
will be Friday, Aug 20th. They are also asking for young ladies to serve
at the Banquet. Latest information I had they were still needing people
for the music team. This is a terrific opportunity for those who are musically
inclined. You will probably want to inquire as to exactly what is needed
at this time by contacting either Eleanor Salois at salois@windstream.net
or John M. Beckling III at utachristianguy@yahoo.com
This item from Rich Thompson and it relates to the item above.
The Lay Director and Spiritual Director for Young Men's Journey 16
have decided to open the event to include Flight tables for High School
age boys. The event will now be a combined Journey 16 and Flight
73. Please spread the word to everyone you know that applications
can be submitted for High School age boys for Flight 73, August 19-21 at
First United Methodist Church Early. Applications can be downloaded
from the Emmaus website - www.ctcemmaus.org - on the Applications and Schedules
page.
Grace and peace,
Rich Thompson
