“A note from the Lay Director!!!”
Congratulations to all of you who took up the challenge to ask someone to attend the April gathering.  We had a great time of worship and meeting new friends.  We had an interesting array of changes in addition to our regulars. Come to the next gathering.  We'll tell you all about it. FBC Bangs has had some interesting and beautiful changes too. Great job.
We are beginning to get ready for summer. In most churches and communities that means kids are out of school.  Let me encourage you to get together and decide what you can do to show the hands and feet of Christ to these children.  They are the future of our churches and our world.  Will we do what we can to influence their lives or will we wait for someone else?  Who will it be?

Beth

Please Note the following Information!!!
The Upper Room has published a new Purple Worship Book that has numerous and significant changes in Worship Aids and the language for the Worship Service and Liturgy and includes the new Blessings Before and After Meals used at Walks and Gatherings.

Beginning with Walk #344 on Sep 10th, 2009 all Pilgrims will receive the new version on their walk.  After that time all Walks and Gatherings will use the new language in the new books.
A supply of these new worship books has been ordered and will be available for $2.00. Hopefully by the June Gathering.
You will need to purchase a new book if you wish to be using the same language as everyone else at Walks and Gatherings.

The Pecan Valley Emmaus/Chrysalis Community wishes to thank the area churches that host our gatherings. If your church is one of these churches please contact your church office and ascertain that the gathering date in the rotation is on that church’s calendar.
It would be helpful for me, if you could send me an email with your church’s email address and I could add that address to the list for the Newsletter.
