West District UMW Tasting Diversity and Haiti Study to be held at Stephenville FUMC on February 4, 2012:

We will begin at 9:00 for our Tasting Diversity in which we ask children and adults to participate in preparing multi-cultural food and enjoying international stories and games.  We will share the food for our meal at lunch then gather in the afternoon for a Haiti study led by Rev. Everyone is invited to attend a Pampered Chef Fund Raiser Show on Thursday, January 26 at 7:00 pm in the Eastland FUMC Fellowship Hall. All proceeds will go to the Eastland County Food Pantry. Part-Time Choir Director: First UMC in Hico seeks a part-time choir director to lead weekly choir rehearsals and to direct the choir and congregational singing during Sunday morning worship.  Please contact Rev. Part-Time Choral Director:  First UMC Mineral Wells is seeking a part-time choir director.  Responsibilities include leading weekly choir rehearsals on Wednesday evenings and directing the choir and the congregation on Sundays at the 10:50 a.m. worship service.  The position also includes times of extra rehearsals during the Advent/Christmas season and Lent/Holy Week/Easter.  This person must be willing to work with the Pastor and participate as a member of the Worship Committee in coordinating the music for weekly worship.  Please send resumes to Rev.
